mode : housewife

curry is one of my husband's favourite dishes and it is out of my expertise. why? because my family prefer to eat "gulai" instead of curry. so when he asked me to cook fish curry for him... it was a bit emmmmm........ the long one. haha

so I goggling some recipes, looking for the most easy and tasteful to be cook. add on with some "my touch" and alteration to the curry. and it turned to be almost like mak ngah's cooking. (faisal like her version of curry)

kitchen become my most favourite place to be currently. so here's mine. white with some grey and blue. small, but enough for me to manage it alone. i don't need a big kitchen (which mean bigger area to clean up everytime i use it).

Baby

it is a vicious cycle...

done with uni life ... "bila nak keja?"
got a job ... "bila nak kahwin?"
got married ... "bila nak ade baby?"

it is a cruel vicious cycle

being married for 2 years... i was been asking with "bila nak ade baby?" question for zillllion times. i know you care, but please be considerate sometimes. do you know that we want a baby too....

it hurts inside. i want to give a baby to my husband. i knew he wants it too. but he never push me for that. he believe on rezeki and usaha. at one point, i broke and cried. cried because of that question. but he is the one that stay aside, wipe the tears...

Dear Allah... you know what best for us. amin....

Izzah Insyirah is 4

Happy Birthday sayang aunty... i thought just yesterday u came to this world, now you turned 4 already. be a good girl yerk sayang....

p/s: delayed post. her birthday is on 20th March. That time, aunty was a spongebob.

Dental Surgery

dentist told me... doing it (removal of my impacted wisdom teeth) under GA wont hurt much. so, i confidently said YES to it.

admitted a day before, waiting nervously and boom...the surgery done on 18th of March. At recovery area....i was struggling, handling the pain. bolus dose of fentanyl wont help me to reduce the pain at all. In the end, i ended up with PCA (patient control aneast) and kept pushing the button ever 3-5 mins. PCA did help me a lot. pain score only 2-3/10. can smile, can walk around the ward. one thing that i couldn't do... eat.

my face started to swell... change from round to square. i became spongebob squarepant!

then a real challenge started...

discharged a day after surgery.... no more PCA, just arcoxia and swollen face. and the pain was so excruciating. i was crying in pain....and starving. at one point, i was looking for the scissor to cut my long hair. that showed how much the pain i was bearing. almost went insane haha. kept blaming myself for agreeing to do this surgery. taking arcoxia with empty stomach really thought me a lesson. i ended up with gastric attack 3 nights in a row. woken up in the middle of the night...some times with vomiting.

pain persistant almost 2 weeks. life only depends on painkiller and soft diet.

till now...1 month after surgery, i'm still having the pain. although it is better than before, pain does disturb my daily life. chewing still be a problem to me.

dear dentist....are you sure that surgery wont hurt much???

p/s: 7 teeth extracted (4 wisdom teeth, 2 premolar, 1 impacted palatally premolar) in order for me to wear braces. beauty is pain.

honey mustard rosemary chicken

since i got my own "playground" in my house.... cooking become my new obsession. well...i can say i can cook, but not a mahir one. spent most of my teenage time with books *poyo. but, faisal seem to enjoy it each time i serve him with my homemade cooking. sedap i guess.

and this is one of his favourite.

honey mustard rosemary chicken

just a mix of mustard, honey, garlic, some salt and pepper, rosemary herb and chicken. roast it in the oven 180c for 15-20 mins. dont ask about the how much to put, all agak2. and to get the agak2, some talent in cooking needed hahahaha

add on with some ceaser salad and fries... which is my expertise hahahah

and our dinner turns to be mouth watering

me love

32

He turned 32 last March

a year older and wiser mr hubby.

we decided to celebrate his birthday in Penang since we love Penang so much. love the food, love the place and love the city.

we stayed at Sunway Hotel in the heart of Georgetown. During check in, i asked the hotel staf to arrange the surprise to my husband. yes...they were excited about the plan as i did. But... my husband can smell about the plan.

why???

the hotel staf call the room while both of us in the room, yes, i picked up the phone but how on earth i can answer to the caller's question when my husband was in front of me??? giving me "that look"....

we went out at 10 pm for nasi kandar beratur.... it's a must when you are in penang.

went back to the hotel's room exactly at 12 midnight.

and there you are.... the cake, drinks and candle.

"Happy Birthday Sayang!!"

and he gave me the "surprise" face..haha

Mr President... lets grow old together *muah

HOME

2 years of marriage, many things we able to accomplish together. One of them... buying a house and call it a home... our home.

it is not easy...to decide and buy a house. with all the things in the world gone wildly pricey. since both of us are working in Kuala Terengganu, we've decided to buy a house in KP Perdana. Near to my family house and close to both our working place.

buying a house already gave us headache...but preparing the house for us to accommodate almost gave us a fit. everything cost money. we are not happy with the overall quality and condition of the house. senget here, senget there, lubang here and tak kemas there. so, we spent money to repair some of them, apart the so called "their contractor" come to do the "repair"

putting new plug and wiring so on cost us 5k
buying the light bulb, lamp and so on cost us 3-4k
plaster ceiling and bla bla bla cost us 3k
kitchen cabinet and appliances cost us 21k
perabut and home deco 15-20k
carpet grass and seangkatan ye cost us 2k
and plus any everyday hidden cost.......

we went minimal in decorating the house...and finally we can call this as OUR HOME.
